A PROUD HISTORY

The Vale Gilbert and Sullivan Society is in its 40th year, having mounted its first amateur production - ‘Trial by Jury’ - in 1969 in the Victoria Hall, Tring.
Some of the founder members who appeared in that performance are still taking part in our shows, and casts for our productions often include a range of ages from nine to (almost) 90 years.
We are a friendly and lively local company who provide great musical entertainment. As a Gilbert and Sullivan Society, we obviously do our fair share of G&S, but we have tackled a wide range of other material and will continue to do so.
Most of our performances in recent years have been at the Court Theatre, Tring, but we have taken some recent shows out to smaller local venues,
We are proud to be affiliated to the National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA)
